SRI RAMA CHANDRA SWAMY TEMPLE - AMMAPALLI VILLAGE

Have you ever wondered exploring a 100 year old temple in Hyderabad.

Yes we have at Ammapalli village, near to Shamshabad airport approximately about 5kms from Shamshabad bus stop.

This temple was built during 13th century with the idol being made approximately 1000 years ago ie during 11th century which is older than our own Golconda Fort.

The temple is decked with a large seven-story tower having a large image of Lord Vishnu in sleeping posture above the gateway of the tower.

There used to be  a large temple pond which is very ancient now dried up,which is surrounded by porticos and once it provided shelter to the pilgrims.

Telugu film industry loves Ammapalli Temple and have got a belief that movies recorded here would be a hit with the blessings of Sri Rama Chandra Swamy

Visit Timings Of The Temple is 06:00 AM to 01:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
